The event is designed for couples.
This is an interesting one-of-a-kind social experiment in Bulgaria. Lunch in the Dark. At this lunch, visually impaired people will briefly introduce us to the intriguing world of darkness. Our idea is to immerse you in a world where vision is absent to allow your other senses to unfold. This world is full of sounds, feelings, tastes, and touch, and very often it turns out to be richer than the visual. As one wise sentiment about life states: "To see clearly one must stop to see.".
- Group meeting at the Tenebris Restaurant in Sofia city center, where the lunch itself will be held. Here you will find a person from our team, who is professionally trained, to assist and guide the event towards its purpose. This is the so-called Facilitator. It checks the list of people and verifies the information (names and years) in order to verify the age and correctness of the names.
- The facilitator introduces the participants to the program that awaits them and discusses the upcoming experiences. Offers them coffee, tea or water - included in the program price. Conducts with the group specially designed and interesting games lasting about 60 minutes that lead the group to its goal: have fun with your partner, make new friends and recharge with positive energy. Next is the Dark Lunch itself, which lasts about 2 hours.
- “Lunch in the Dark” is a concept developed in the 1990s and first appeared here in the Balkans in the Balkans. Our idea is to immerse you in a world where vision is absent and to allow your other senses to unfold. This world is full of sounds, feelings, tastes and touch, and very often it turns out to be richer than the visual.
- How will the Lunch in the Dark happen?
You will be welcomed into an illuminated reception area, where we will briefly tell you what awaits you. After leaving your outerwear, bags, phones, and other experience-incompatible items in a safe place, you will meet your host. He or she will take you to the dining room where absolute darkness reigns. Just to preserve this total darkness for all the guests upon whom our concept is built, no phones, glowing watches, lighters and e-cigarettes are imported, as well as all other objects that can emit light.
Specially selected wines, craft beers and homemade lemonades will accompany you on your culinary journey.
You can choose from several types of 3-way menus specially designed to enhance the experience and provoke your senses:
Meat Main Menu: Meat based palette.
Main menu Fish: Suitable for fish, seafood and delicacies.
Vegetarian Main Menu: Amazing combinations of fully vegetarian dishes.
Main menu "Bulgarian" (meat based)
Important, the menu is pre-ordered when you register for the event!
- Finally, the Facilitator will familiarize you with the various options for programs that you can pursue in Instinct. If desired, the group can continue their adventure in Instinct by signing up for the next interesting program so that the group members continue to have fun and get to know each other.
- It is important to know that the program will be held with a minimum of 12 participants enrolled !!! If there are fewer entries you can wait for the next date or refund your money. Three days before the event, the program closes and prepares for launch. Each participant who has paid for their participation will receive a confirmation of their email. Again, everything that is described in your program is included in the price and as we like to say:
